Thomas "T.J." Spear has been practicing law since 1995.

T.J. Graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Santa Clara University in 1984.  After serving over 5 years as a U.S. Naval Officer, Submarine Qualified. T.J. returned home to Oregon to attend law school. Graduating from Lewis and Clark’s Northwestern School of Law in Portland, Oregon.

The first 12 years of TJ's career were spent as a Deputy District Attorney, where he successfully prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases, including; Measure 11 cases, murder cases, sexual abuse cases, DUIIs, and drug cases.

Member of the Oregon State Bar since 1995

Member of the U.S. District Court of Oregon

Registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO

instructor for the National District Attorney Association Trial College

Successfully prosecuted patent applications for small businesses and start-up companies

Represented clients in a wide variety of criminal cases and successfully tried Measure 11, Jessica Laws cases, and numerous DUII cases.
